Okablowanie antenowe czy inaczej mówiąc współosiowe (kabel koncentryczny) jest jednym z najważniejszych a zarazem najbardziej czułym elementem instalacji antenowej sieci WiFi i nie tylko. Spora, o ile nie większa część problemów z połączeniami radiowymi dotyczy właśnie kabla i złączek. Poniżej kilka przypadków (może nawet wpadek) z powyższym tematem
1 – woda w kablu
W tym wypadku do kabla dostała się woda poprzez źle zarobioną końcówkę. Problemem była niedokładnie nawinięta taśma samowulkanizująca. Przez szczeliny między zwojami taśmy po czasie dostała się woda powodująca znaczne pogorszenie właściwości kabla co objawiało się stopniowym osłabianiem siły sygnału zarówno odbieranego jak i wysyłanego. Po czasie kabel „gnije” od środka, oplot (ekran) robi się matowy a kabel przy lekkim zaginaniu trzeszczy co jest oznaką iż należy go wymieniać.
2 – przetarta izolacja
Jeden z kabli antenowych został przez instalatora źle zabezpieczony za pomocą trytytek wskutek czego jego izolacja została zniszczona (pojawił się w niej otwór) przez który dostała się woda. Co było dalej? Patrz punkt 1.
Wnioski: prawidłowe zabezpieczanie okablowania antenowego (i nie tylko) oraz złącz jest niezwykle ważne gdyż te kilka chwil poświęconych podczas instalacji może zaoszczędzić masę czasu i kłopotów w dalszym użytkowaniu naszych sieci.
Jakiś czas temu zmęczyło mnie ciągłe przełączanie się pomiędzy wieloma oknami programów takich jak klient ssh, rdp i innych. Poszukując czegoś dobrego i darmowego natrafiłem na program mRemoteNG. Dobry, prosty ale i o dużej funkcjonalności program z dwoma poziomami zakładek co umożliwia pogrupowanie naszych zdalnych sesji po np. protokołach a potem po konkretnych zdalnych hostach. Obsługuje SSH, Telnet, RDP i kilka innych protokołów a także pozwala zdefiniować własne zewnętrzne narzędzia. Brakuje mi tylko obsługi Winboxa. Program działa stabilnie i szybko nawet z wieloma otwartymi sesjami ssh i rdp.
Inny rozwiązaniem, choć tylko dla konsoli testowej ssh, telnet itp. jest programik mtputty. Mały, lekki, szybki i stabilny programik pozwalający korzystać z wielu sesji konsolowych takich jak ssh, telnet, serial itp a wszystko to umieszczone jest w jednym oknie i dostępne pod zakładkami. Program współpracuje z np putty i umożliwia import zapisanych sesji.
Kolejne rozwiązanie, ale tylko już dla rdp to MS Remote Desktop Connection Manager pozwalający tworzyć grupy zdalnych hostów i przedstawiać je w postaci drzewa. Program szybki i wygodny jak najbardziej godny polecenia a jedną z przyjemnych funkcji jest podgląd „kafelkowy” wielu miniatur otwartych sesji. Na tych miniaturach możemy operować jak na normalnych okna np uruchamiając programu, przesuwając okna itd.
Osobiście polecam mRemoteNG a jeśli ktoś używa czegoś lepszego może podzielić się swoją wiedzą.
Jeśli potrzebujesz naprawdę małego ale funkcjonalnego serwera plików to HFS (HTTP File Server) jest rozwiązaniem dla Ciebie! Program nie wymaga instalacji i jest dostępny na stronie twórcy i zajmuje tylko 570 kB! W tak małej objętości zmieszczono naprawdę wiele opcji, których nie powstydził by się niejeden wielki kombajn.
